Now she speaks to heal, uplift, and help others rise. She walks alongside other women who feel alone and suffer in silence. Leatrice has experienced the fires, yet her flame is still lit.
Life has been both my experience and years of expertise. Although on paper, I possess two degrees, one being a masters degree in psychology. I have over 20 years of law enforcement experience, and years working as a mental health professional. My greatest accomplishment was a single mother who raised her son alone.
Grace to Grieve: Keeping Faith as my focus to conquer any adversity. Turning pain into purpose to motivate women to continue their journey. Live and Love to Lead their Legacy!
I offer hope in the hearts of women, tools in their hands, and the courage to move from brokenness to breakthrough.
I empower them to face adversity with courage, embrace grace in their grief, and take actionable steps toward emotional and spiritual healing. Through my story of loss, trauma, and redemption, my audience will learn that pain doesn’t have the final word—and they can find grace and strength to rise again.

When we talk about strength, resilience, and faith in the face of adversity, we often think of concepts—ideas that inspire from a distance. But what happens when those ideas are tested in the most unimaginable ways? What happens when life breaks you in places you never thought you could survive?
That is the story I carry—the story I live and breathe every day. And it is the reason I am called to speak.
I am not a woman who has read about loss in a book or studied grief from the sidelines. I am a woman who has lived through the fire, who has walked through seasons of abuse, betrayal, unjust incarceration, discrimination, mental anguish, and the soul-shattering loss of my son to suicide. These experiences could have buried me. In fact, for a long time, I thought they had. But in that valley, I discovered something extraordinary: grace. Grace to keep breathing when everything in me wanted to stop. Grace to stand when life knocked me to my knees. Grace to believe there was still purpose on the other side of pain.
This is why I created Grace to Grieve, a coaching movement and message of hope for women navigating devastating loss and life transitions. My voice carries the weight of lived experience, but it also carries something even more powerful—proof that healing is possible.
I don’t just share my story; I use my story as a bridge to theirs. My sessions are not about leaving people emotional without direction. They are about equipping your audience with truth, tools, and transformation.
During my speaking events, an audience will leave with the following:
• Validation and Relief in knowing they are not alone in their pain.
• Practical Tools to process grief, handle triggers, and move forward without guilt.
• Faith-Based Encouragement by providing a message of grace rooted in God’s love—a reminder that even in darkness, light still exists.
• Renewed Purpose by knowing women can now move, even revived in their purpose to continue their legacy purpose.
• Empowerment to Act in their next steps on their journey with clarity—whether that’s reaching out for help, starting a journal, or simply giving themselves permission to heal.
